Studio Contract

Terms and Conditions as agreed to when booking:

*All rentals of 3+ hours MUST be cancelled 7 days or more from booking. Bookings of 3+ hours that are cancelled after 7 days prior to the booking will still be required to pay for the rental.

1. All renters assume responsibility for anyone that enters the studio and main building. Trove Photography Co., and Brianna VanValkenburg, are not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur.

2. Do NOT open windows at any time. Renters agree to inform their clients or guests of this rule, and assume all responsibility and liability if someone does open the windows and any injury occurs.

3. Cancellations and reschedules must occur before 48 hours of your rental. Rentals cancelled after 48 hours are still responsible for payment and no refund will be given.

4. No jumping on the furniture. Renters may be responsible for damages or replacements. Please treat all of the furniture and styling props with care.

5. It is recommended that all renters carry liability insurance. All renters assume responsibility for themselves, and their guests and/or clients. Trove Photography Co., and Brianna VanValkenburg, are not responsible for any injuries or issues that arise during a renters session.

6. All furniture must be put back into place, and the studio must be cleaned at the end of your rental. Renters must send a photo of the clean space to Trove Photography Co. at (269) 282-2282. Failure to do so may result in a $10 fee.

7. Rocking furniture needs to be on carpets. Do not move heavy objects. Floors may scratch with large movement.

8. No glitter, unsupervised candles, or sparklers. If you're hosting a styled shoot with candles, please keep the fire extinguisher nearby and review how to use it.

9. Please contact Trove Photography Co. about any damage immediately. Failure to do so will result in loss of rental privileges.

10. Renters must turn off all lights and A/C and/or heat at the end of their rental.

11. Renters must be out of the space at the end of their scheduled time. Please book enough time for clean up before you leave. If you take up another renters time, your rental privileges may be revoked.

12. If you do not receive an email with the lock box and studio entry code, please text the studio owner at (269)282-2282 at least 18 hours prior to your shoot.

13. Absolutely NO smoking of any kind is allowed in the studio. Failure to follow these rules will result in a $100 fine and a loss or rental privileges.

14. No pornography or sexual activity of any kind is permitted in the studio. A fine of $1000 will occur if this rule is broken. Boudoir and couples boudoir sessions are always welcome and in no way considered in this term.

15. Weddings are required to have their own event insurance. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to getting your access codes.

16. While there may be security cameras in the common areas arounds the building, to protect renter and client privacy, there will NOT be any cameras or recording devices in the studio. Your rentals will be completely private.

17. There are no public bathrooms and there are only stairs to access. This is not wheelchair accessible. Any temporary accommodations such as ramps must be provided by renters and removed without damage by time of departure.

18. Furniture and props are not guaranteed but are requested. We will make it our best effort to include some sample items.

19. Theft, loss, or damage to equipment, props, furniture, and/or studio will be reported immediately. Loss of privileges and fine of replacement will be given.
